Pirith Chanting Ceremony - 2012 |
2600 Sri Sambuddhatwa Jayanthi Vihara Committee in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Oman organized a Pirith Chanting Ceremony with the participation of 09 priests to bless President Mahinda Rajapaksa on his 67th birthday and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, Sultan of Oman on his birthday and to protect all living beings. A large number of Sri Lankan expatriates community and other nations like Philippines, Indians living in Oman participated in the event. |
