The Sri Lankan Trade Exhibition & Food Festival – 2012

Under the auspices of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Oman M/s Arabian Expo and BPOS Consortium are organizing the Sri Lankan Trade Exhibition and Food Festival from 12th, 13th & 14th of February 2012 at Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi, Muscat.  The Exhibition will be opened to the public from 1000 hrs. to 1900 hrs. each day.

 

This is the first time in the recent past that the Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to have an opportunity to showcase their products and services in the Sultanate of Oman.  Oman is one of the promising destinations among the gulf countries for Sri Lankan products and it is expected to exhibit the items from the following categories:

This event comes at the most appropriate time where the country is in an accelerated growth phase after the cessation of hostilities which has brought peace to Sri Lanka.  The Trade Exhibition will be a gateway to Sri Lankan to enter into the Sultanate’s market by providing the entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka an opportunity to be part of Sri Lanka’s international business Development process.

 

To make the event a success, the Embassy anticipates around 40 prospective Sri Lankan business firms and companies to participate in the forthcoming Exhibition. 

 

The Embassy kindly invites the Sri Lankan companies and business firms to participate in the event.
